Rates an address 0–100 by signs of anonymised or proxy traffic seen on it: residential, mobile and datacenter proxies, botnets.
- Score 0–100
What it is
Synthient is an IP-intelligence service that watches for addresses used as proxy exits or by botnets.
Its page for an address names the network type, the provider and the kinds of traffic it observed — for example a residential proxy, a datacenter proxy, a mobile proxy, a botnet, corporate or torrent traffic.
What it checks
- Observed proxy infrastructure: residential, mobile and datacenter
- Botnet activity and other automated traffic seen on the address
- Network type (home, mobile, hosting, corporate) and provider
How to read the result
- 0–29
- Nothing anonymised was observed on the address.
- 30–59
- Some signs of proxy or automated traffic.
- 60–100
- The address was seen as a proxy exit or inside a botnet.
Colours on this site: green below 30, yellow 30–59, red from 60.
Limits
- It shows whether the address has been seen as proxy or botnet infrastructure — not how trustworthy the person behind it is.
- An address that recently left a proxy pool can keep a high score for a while.
- The service does not publish exactly how the score is calculated.
