Every result on this site comes from a named source. Here is what each one measures, how to read its answer and where it can be wrong.

Reputation scores

A rating from 0 (clean) to 100 (risky). Each service watches different traffic, so they can disagree.

Synthient Rates an address 0–100 by signs of anonymised or proxy traffic seen on it: residential, mobile and datacenter proxies, botnets. IP-DB An abuse confidence score (0–100) built from threat feeds, community reports and live DNS blocklists. proxycheck.io Detects proxies, VPNs, Tor, scrapers and compromised servers and returns a 0–100 risk score. IPFastCheck A 0–100 risk score with flags for proxy, VPN, Tor, datacenter, fraud, abuse and blacklists.

Blocklists

Downloaded lists of addresses seen attacking, scanning or spamming. An address is either listed or not.

IPsum A daily merge of 30+ public threat lists. The number tells how many of them list the address. NEBLink A combined threat list (DShield, Feodo Tracker, Spamhaus DROP, Emerging Threats, scanners) in a clean and a full edition. FireHOL Conservative firewall blocklists: Level 1 for the worst ranges, Level 2 for addresses that attacked in the last 48 hours.
