WHOIS Lookup
Look up registration details for a domain, IP address or autonomous system.
Modern RDAP, classic WHOIS
We use RDAP — the structured successor to WHOIS — for clean, reliable data, and fall back to traditional WHOIS for domains that need it. You get registrar, key dates, status, name servers and contacts.
Domains, IPs and ASNs
The same tool covers all three: who registered a domain, who a block of IP addresses is allocated to, and who operates an autonomous system.
Contacts and abuse reports
Registry data include the registrar, creation and expiry dates, name servers, the organisation behind an IP block and the abuse contact you can write to when you need to report misuse.
Frequently asked questions
What is RDAP?
RDAP is the modern, structured replacement for WHOIS. It returns machine-readable registration data and is now the primary source for most registries.
Why is the owner hidden?
Many registrars redact personal contact details for privacy (for example under GDPR). Registrar, dates and name servers are still shown.
How do I find out when a domain expires?
The result lists the registration dates; the expiry date shows when the current registration period ends. Most registrars renew automatically, and an unpaid domain first enters a grace period before it is released.
Can I look up an IP address or an ASN?
Yes. Enter an IP address to see the network block it belongs to, the organisation it is allocated to and its abuse contact, or an ASN such as AS13335 to see who operates that autonomous system.
