IP-DB
An abuse confidence score (0–100) built from threat feeds, community reports and live DNS blocklists.
- Score 0–100
What it is
IP-DB gives every address an Abuse Confidence Score. It answers one question: how sure are we that this address is being abused?
The score adds up three kinds of evidence: up to 90 points from about 43 open threat-intelligence feeds, up to 35 from community abuse reports and up to 20 from live DNS blocklist lookups. Feeds alone cannot reach 100 — a second kind of evidence is required.
What it checks
- Open threat-intelligence feeds (up to 90 points)
- Community abuse reports (up to 35 points)
- Live DNS blocklist lookups (up to 20 points)

Limits
- A feed entry can be old, or caused by a shared address.
- IP-DB looks up unfamiliar addresses on demand, so this card is often the slowest — up to 15–25 seconds.
